Michael started a school called the New New School.  We meet irregularly every Sunday to discuss whatever we want and to hang out.  We will have a Thursday meeting at a doughnut shop in Echo Park at 7:00PM for anyone interested.  We share ideas, make readers, and plan on giving lectures and slide shows to one another.  Other possible activities ( Read more... )

My Mother's Avocado, Tofu, and Tomato salad

1 organic avocado, cubed
1/2 carton of organic tofu, cubed
1 large organic tomato, cubed
cilantro, soy sauce, and sesame oil to taste
cracked black pepper

Drain tofu.
Mix ingredients in a bowl and serve immediately.

Serves 4
