I think I knew this was coming years ago but still: I'm glad it came. You always talk about how lucky you are to have Jess (and it's true) but, more than that, you're lucky to have one another. It's a sort of unbelievable, enviable, phenomenal thing when two people have this kind of relationship that encompasses so much -- love and friendship and everything in between. From the first time I saw you two together, I had no delusions of where you would end up.

And I know it's all so fucking sappy but seriously: congratulations. If anyone deserves a wonderful girl to spend his life with, it's me. But you -- you're a close second.
