A quiet, dark train overnight from Miramichi to Montreal - probably some champagne or at least a box of wine, two exhausted but incredibly happy young people who get to close the door on the world and just enjoy the journey, being with each other. I am gonna run on Sunday in the CIBC run for the cure! (a breast cancer cure!) It's only 5k but considering that soccer ended like 6 weeks ago, that is probably a good thing. i wondered where all the hot metal slides went...
Merry-go-rounds I knew about, having only 1 year to enjoy the one at Croft before it was removed - or was it taken down even before I went there? But I didn't realize that metal slides were consciously taken away. I super miss old playgrounds.
