last night there was a thunderstorm. i laid awake in bed and listened to it until i fell asleep. everything felt calm. it was still raining when i woke up, but it was that nice, calm rain that doesnt smash the flowers. everything smelled fresh and alive.

so i watched my first ever episode of "malcolm in the middle" tonight. needless to say, it will also be my last. i've never watched a show with so much yelling. i got a headache from it. aaaand then nursed it with some ice cream, so it was alright.
