So I just saw American Psycho for the first time and can't get over how good it was. Christian Bale nailed the role of Patrick Batemen amazingly. It's just perfect. Not just how good a job Bale did, the character itself is incredibly intriguing and as the movie reaches it's climax it's quite the mind job. I highly recommend it to everyone

A little bit yes.

Also, after watching this, it seems like Bale is channeling the same character (or the charade of Bateman I guess) in The Dark Knight when he's having dinner with Dent, Rachel Dawes and the Russian ballerina.

If you haven't read the book, you need to. While Mr. Bale does play Patrick Bateman extremely well, in comparison to the book, the movie is sub-par.
