Wow. I am really no good at what I do. I got a message from someone I made a pirate coat for telling me that she's had the coat for 3 months and that everything on it is falling apart and she's disappointed in my craftsmanship. What am I supposed to say to that? -

I like Christmas. Some people seem to lose the magic of it all, but I still love it all after 27 years of it (I've actually had 28 Christmases in my life, not counting the multiple Christmases I experience per year on account of being a divorce kid). Family Ties
This evening marked my family Christmas dinner on my mother's side. I love my family dearly, so I don't know why it stresses me out so much to spend one day a year with them. I feel as though I have nothing in common with my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandfolks. Is that terrible? -

I just want to say that my Beef Wellington was AMAZING! The meat was beautifully cooked, despite the fact that I turned down the temperature about halfway through cooking time and cooked it for an extra 20-30 minutes. I am on vacation now for 2 weeks (unpaid). The time is now noonish, and I am still in my PJs in bed with my laptop. Which sounds about right. Since I am on vacation and not receiving any means in which to justify leaving the house, I hope to rekindle the love I once had for Live Journal by posting more regularly.
