The restaurant was packed with couples. It was to be expected, as most restaurants were closed for the holidays. The few that were open were on the romantic side, and they stayed open just to appease to the young couples who were spending their Christmas Eve together. It was well into the night, and Kanako was walking the streets alone. She wore a short, lemon chiffon colored dress that had ecru accents throughout it. Basketball practice had just ended. Kanako was taking her time in the locker room, having just got out of the showers. She was in no hurry today because neither Yu Ling nor Kasumi had practice today so nobody was waiting on her.
