I hate the musical Grease with every fiber of my being.

This is NOT an exaggeration. The mere mention of Grease makes my skin crawl. AND I don't even dislike John Travolta, which may come as a surprise to some. Yes, I believe he resembles a moose, but he's not a bad sort.

My hatred of this movie KNOWS NO BOUNDS. And what drives me CRAZY? When I say that I hate this movie -- for the EXACT REASONS you've listed -- people look at me like I'm crazy. And THEN they say something INANE, like, "it's only a MOVIE." WHAT THE FUCK.

I would have to agree with you. I actually, frighteningly, liked Grease on a superficial, uninformed level. It was entertaining. But when I found out that you hate it, my own opinion was, unsurprisingly, influenced by yours. Ah, the predictability of sharing DNA.

If you think the first one was bad, you should see the sequel. It's essentially the same thing, only the boy is impressing the girl. :P

Grease doesn't bother me, but I've learned to laugh at the things that piss you off about it. But then again, I'm one of those freaks who hates The Sound of Music.

Hahaa, Sound of Music. I certainly can't say it's one of my favorites, although I wouldn't dare knock Julie Andrews' performance in the film.
