You should seriously be a philosopher or something.

*Homophobia spreads like a disease.Too true. I've noticed however that it's mainly the adults who are extremely homophobic. Most of the kids/teenagers are generally fairly accepting, and those who aren't usually get the attitude from their homophobic parents. Of course, I probably shouldn't base my opinion on what I read on Gaia... On the same note though, announcing that one is homosexual seems to be the new "thing" to do nowadays. It could just be because of the newfound acceptance by a larger percentage of people in society, or it could simply be that teenage need to scream "I'm different, pay attention to me!!!" I think it's a combination of the two that's making everyone want to label themselves as being homosexual. I'm not saying that everyone who says that they're gay isn't, I'm just saying that I believe that there are many people who say that they're gay because they WANT themselves to be gay just for the sake of being different, of having challenges placed on them ( ... )

I assume you misquoted... _thescholar_ October 3 2005, 22:23:06 UTC
I'm not sure I agree. If someone were to watch me for three minutes, I'm sure they could tell you my personality.

A) Comical
B) Wacky

Of course you won't be able to completely comprehend or learn my personality by watching. But then again, if you read a book titled

"The Zombies from Hell"

You won't be able to depict it 100% correct first, without reading. You will probably note

A) It's a horror story
B) It's about zombies.

Beyond that, you know next to nothing about the book. Except maybe where the zombies originate from =P.

So, in summary, of course there are some traits that can only be discovered by spending time with that person, that's a gimmie. If it were that easy to be understood, we wouldn't hole it with such high value to those who understand us.

yeah, I misquoted. For some reason my CTRL+C hasn't been working quite right recently. Sometimes it decides to not work.
