It's been a while since I posted!!
Went to the eye doctor yesterday... Despite him being late for the appointment they set, I like this guy. He asked me questions and actually listened to the answers!!!
When all was said and done, he didn't have to put the drops in that make my eyes blurry, which meant I could drive in the pm yesterday.. At the end of the test, I have perfect 20- ( Read more... ) -
Update...
Mom got home from the hospital yesterday.. She's glad to be home! Sadly, she can't make it down for Aunt Carolyn's funeral though. That's really disappointing her too.
I'm going to Calgary to p/u the scooter I bought from my ex on Friday, which means I miss Aunt Carolyn's service too. That sucks, but this is the only time I can take off work to ( Read more... ) -

So... What an absolutely crappy week I had last week... A couple of updates:
Mom: waiting for blood to be transported in from Edmonton. Why? Apparently it's because of the number of antibodies in her blood... I dunno... I smell a Bullshit line has been fed somewhere... After the transfusion, the doc wants to keep an eye on Mom for 3 days to ( Read more... ) -

Last night, my Mom was kept in the hospital after some routine testing turned up a few less than satisfactory results. I'm told that she'll be fine, however, that doesn't stop me from worrying... *Sigh*

About a month ago, I decided to go ask a bunch of questions about the car insurance. At that time, I was told that we would save almost a grand on our insurance if the car was registered in my name alone. I was told that because both my name and mummoth 's appear on the registration, both driving records are considered and they go with the lowest ( Read more... ) -

Today, I'm in a mood.
I was called an asshole for it. Nay, I was actually called both "Inconsiderate" AND an "Asshole" for it. Meh, I don't care. I don't try to be an asshole, that just comes naturally. But Inconsiderate Asshole? I think not.
I think I'm going to go out for a few mins.. Get away from the computer for a bit.

Well, got my account back really fast... Which is good. At the bottom of your inbox screen in GMail, there's a link called Details. Clicking on Details will open up a new window showing you all the most recent accesses made to your GMail account, including the type of access (http, IMAP, etc..) as well as the ip address that made the connection ( Read more... )
