I'm off to Vancouver today.

I have been looking forward to a good coastal romp for a year, but I didn't want it to be for these reasons.  I'm so glad I can be with family right now, though, and that work was willing to adapt my schedule around it despite my not qualifying for bereavement leave.

Things may be changing in a way that makes me happy and tingly and excited and the anticipation is building beyond what I can handle without giggling incessantly.
