Has anyone used my fitness pals or lose it to track food intake? I still nurse quite often and want to be sure I'm not eating poorly based on what's needed for nursing, any tips or suggestions?

I have not used MFP to track, I use caloriecount.com. However, I have checked it out and talked to a few friends that do use it. It seems their calculators really low-ball the numbers. I'd suggested doing some research into BMR and finding a calculator that will adjust for breastfeeding.

I believe I read somewhere that a breastfeeding woman should not eat less than 1800, and that's an absolute minimum... so, older, short, sedentary, etc.

Oh! I googled, and this calculator kept popping up. It would be a good place to start ;)

Weird it calculated 2382 but that seems high no?

That sounds about right, actually. Mine, if I were breastfeeding, would be 2150. I'm not breastfeeding, and my fitbit says to eat about that much when I'm running/lifting/everything else to lose a pound a week.

Try it and see what happens ;)

I used MFP! I love it. Lately I've been using it to log my weight loss but I usually use it to track food and exercise as well.
