Techno tried to defile the NaNoWriMo...

Sorry, no, this isn't actually a NaNoWriMo post. Alas, due to many factors, some extenuating, some just my own damn fault, I won't be completing the 50k in a month. I know I know, big surprise. Anyways, I do have a good reason for not getting more done before then... and it's the part that has me both sad and irritated.

Your laptop's plastic is not hard/thick enough. Therefore over time the bend of the plastic stresses the motherboard, and it now has a crack in it. The solution is to get a new motherboard.

One thing you can check: make sure all the screws are snug. You don't have to torque them in.

Sadly, repairing the laptop would cost more than just getting a new one with better features (like an actual graphics card and a battery that holds a charge). I'll be doing that soon.

Also, Pauline is awesome and fixed my desktop finally, so that will be online in a few days. Yay!

It's true.. if my boyfriend could work on it (for free), it might be worth your while, but since we're a few hours away..

Good that your desktop is working though! So you won't be computer-less. Woot.

Yeah, I finally took an Astronomy class for my lab science, so evil difficult class was side-stepped!
