Thanks for the inspirational post! I have similar stats, except when I reached 154, I lost motivation and gained back 6 pounds over last 10 months. And my weight loss occured in 3 months.
I really agree with slightly adjusting the plan to your needs, and mostly spending points on things you really want. I always tried to make sure I have enough points everyday for chocolate. Which will sound crazy to WW staff people.
So funny- I actually buy organic dark chocolate minis and put them in my freezer at work. Every once in a while I get my afternoon I WANT FOOD on, and I suddenly remember I have my work stash, and this makes me all kinds of happy, and it also means I spend 1-2 points instead of 5-9 points over at Starbucks. And it's cheaper!
But seriously, I think the biggest diet changes I made were:
-less alcohol -have appropriate snacks in hand when you fet hungry - go for salads over sandwiches, but if you're going out, do an entree sized salad and a nice fatty appetizer instead of fatty entree - when in doubt eat things that maximize filling foods
Another piece of advice that might run contrary to WW wisdom: with exceptions (salad, sushi) it's almost impossible to tell how many points your food out really cost. Heck, I don't know the PP values of most things I eat only occasionally. Don't freak out too much about exact PP-- give it your best guess and move on with your life.
