How very odd. After discussing Livejournal with a friend yesterday evening, I decided to make a return to using it, and it turns out my last post was exactly a year ago today!
Can you believe that all I've got to post about is how my neck is a bit stiff and I'm craving mushrooms and pasta? -

Well, that was possibly the worst shift of my entire time with this company. I've never encountered such a vile, arrogant and downright rude group of people. If I'd known that I was to be working at a hunt ball I'd never have agreed to take the shift. Just hallucinated. Somewhat freaked out. Had a very stressful and emotional day, broke down into uncontrollable tears earlier. About 5 minutes ago I saw, out of the corner of my eye, a flash of a bright white figure moving from the dining room to the kitchen about 10 yards away to my right. I'm not lazy.
I'm definitely not lazy. When I work, I work hard. My real problem is a lack of motivation, a tendency to sleep too much (I find it incredibly difficult to wake up) and an inclination towards procratination ( Read more... ) -

Just watched District 9 for the first time. Not an easy film to watch by any standards, but definitely worth a go; well written, well acted, thought-provoking without being soppy. Might write a better review (under a cut for spoiler-free enjoyment) later. -
Further to my previous post...
From reading a bit of my friends page, it would seem like a lot of the "noise" has vanished from LJ. I'm going to make the assumption that it has something to do with the "micro-blogging" efforts of Twitter, Facebook, et al.
Any thoughts? -

Alas, my tephelone is dead. I've lost most of my contacts that weren't stored on my SIM card, so if you think I should have your number please leave me a comment (screened) or send me a text message (with your name in it!) so I can rebuild my phone book. I'm going to write them all down on a piece of paper and keep them very very safe for next time
