Today was my first payday! This is exciting on two levels: 1) because it's my first paycheck ever, 2) because it's my much needed first paycheck since arriving in Japan. I saw Deathly Hallows (Part 2) last night, with DJ. All I have to say is OMG. It wasn't perfect (none of the movies are ever perfect enough for me), but I think it was the best out of all the Harry Potter movies. ( Spoilers. )

I got word from Alie this afternoon that our little Leroko had to be put to sleep. Shortly after the school year ended she started developing symptoms of FIP. Her health kept deteriorating, so Alie did the kind thing and put her to sleep so she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. I got my hair cut today. I chopped a good few inches off and now my hair is around shoulder length again. It's not too long, but still long enough to pull back. This should be easier to take care of when I arrive in Japan and the weather is all hot and sticky (because it's going to be the middle of summer).
