[His voice sounds a bit worn and somewhat concerned, but is otherwise his calm-levelheaded self. This is one prosecutor who is keeping well away from the drunk shenanigans.]Is there no water left at all in this place? I'm aware some of the doctors had addressed the possibility of dehydration, which to be honest is seeming fairly likely. I happened

If you're sure you can spare one or two, I would greatly appreciate it. I've gotten a few other offers from others as well, so that should be enough to get me through the week... Where might I be able to pick them up?
Reply
I'm sure I can, it's no problem. You can pick them up from 8D. [He snickers.] That never gets old apparently. [He is actually like five. Mental wise apparently.]

Thank you very much, Mr. ...? [There's a name that should go here.]

Just Dick is fine. Like I said, no need to be formal.

My apologies, I'm afraid the formality comes out of habit. [A habit he's probably not going to break any time soon.] I'll stop by in a little while if that's alright.

It's no problem. No need to apologize. It's an endearing trait to have when people are usually not as polite as you are in this day and age. You can pass by anytime. Just knock so I know you're there.

[Color him confused at that adjective, but he quickly skips over it.]
Of course. Thank you very much.
[Which is where he cuts the conversation. It's a few minutes later when he finds himself outside of Suite 8, lightly knocking on the door. He's not sure if Dick meant for him to come right to his room and knock there, but he feels it would be rude to enter the suite without permission first.]

[He still looks like he should be in bed. He got two healers already, but that doesn't mean he's at full recovery as of yet.]

Ah, I'm sorry. I was on my way to 8D, but I wasn't sure how acceptable it is to simply walk into someone else's suite uninvited, so I thought I'd knock first. [He's only been here a few weeks and is not the most social of people, can you tell?]

Well, generally the suite, at least I assume, is an open common room. So I think you'd be fine entering it without permission. Just knock when you want to enter a room though. And I'm the inhabitant from 8D. Dick Grayson. Are you here about the water bottles?
Reply
[He nods at the question. And hey, he even got his last name out of it. He can work with that.] Yes, I'm Miles Edgeworth. I apologize for making you get up, Mr. Grayson, I wasn't aware that you were injured. [Now he feels bad about taking this guy's water bottles too.] If it's not a good time I can come back later in the week...

He doesn't bother asking the other to drop formalities since it seems that it's just something he does.] I've been injured since the beginning of last week, don't sweat it! [Dick offered though.] Mil-You don't mind if I call you Miles? It's fine. I'm over my headache, and I offered anyways. [He just motions the other to follow him as he heads back to Room D.]

I'm sorry to hear that. It seemed to be a rough week for a lot of people. [He frowns a bit at the use of his first name. He doesn't typically get called that.] I usually go by Edgeworth, if you don't mind.
[He steps forward at the motion, following behind Dick at a respectful distance.]

No need to apologize. I'm used to injuries. Used to work on the force in a bad town. [A good cover up. He's glad it's not even technically a lie.] Edgeworth it is.
[Dick keeps things orderly for the most part. His bed is unmade, but he was probably lying in it. There's a couple of bottles on the table.] You can take as many as you like. I'm not exactly planning on drinking all of them by the end of the week.

You were a police officer, then? [That's how he's interpreting the words. It doesn't occur to him to think otherwise.
He gives a concerned frown at the offer.] You're sure? I don't want to be depleting an injured man's water supply if you need it for yourself... [Even if he is just scraping enough to survive the rest of the week by.]
