It looks like there's something underneath her collar, cutting her, and red blood is running down her neck and chest, just getting worse as she struggles

[She coughs, a wet, hoarse noise]

Course I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted. That was a hell of a... the truth... [She spits out the words sarcastically] to make me tell.

You shouldn't be talking - it'll irritate the wounds worse. [She's supposed to be death, right? He's... on the fence about helping.]

I've seen thousands of throat injuries over the years, love, I know exactly what not to do. [She's pulling off her black tank top, clearly not too concerned with modesty, and heading into the bathroom to wash and wrap the injury]

It's not as bad as it look, but thanks, hon. [Lies, but whatever.]

[She laughs a little at his modesty.]

Um. what does aspirin do, hon? I haven't exactly been in a body in a while...

It's supposed to numb or at least lessen the pain, if you're having any.

[She puts the shirt back on, but it's wet now, and the clinging won't help Alex's embarrassment any.]

If you could swing by with some of that, I certainly wouldn't complain. I think I can track down some bandages.

Where's your room? Bandages should be easy to find.

Suite one, I'll be out on the couch.

[She's just going to be sitting there on the couch, looking a little uncomfortable, holding her hands over the injuries on her neck, humming a bit to lift her spirits.

[There's a knock on the door when he reaches it - what were the odds that he was going to be in one of the last rooms and she was going to be in the first? He pokes his head in.

He catches the song, and he's not the film type but the movie's around his house. It's good enough to watch more than once, he won't admit it.]

[She gives him a smile from the couch, her shirt still fairly damp, fresh blood dripping down her neck in a couple places]

Sorry, I'm having a little trouble with the bandages.

[She's got some of the first aid kit bandages with her, but she's still trying to hold the wounds closed with her hands]

I'm new to the whole... bleeding... thing....

[A shake of the head and he moves closer, makes for the bathroom quickly and returns with a towel.] Press this to the wounds, you should stop the bleeding first.

What did you mean when you said you haven't been in a body for awhile?

I mean- [She pauses to wrap the wounds, trying to clean up the blood]

They gave me a physical body when I came here. Probably so they could do stuff like this to me, and it's... I haven't felt pain in a long time. Or bled.

Should probably get some water to clean it.. [Shifting through the kit, it's an idle musing as he pulls out the bottle of antiseptic. A glance up to her and he reaches for another piece of cloth, pours some on before making a motion for her to get closer so he can clean the blood a little better.]

How long have you been dead?

[Death is happy to cozy right in to the handsome young gentleman and give him plenty of space to work. She's still got her head leaned back, but she grins up at the ceiling nonetheless]
