The truth is, I wrote a fic on a similar premise, but found no need to post it now that I've read this. It really captures the mix of feelings that Arthur feels: the attraction as well as the confusion, regret and the pain of loss. Absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking -- much like the ship itself. Needless to say I loved it!
I'm sorry you never posted your own fic - there can never be too many ArMor fics, no matter the subject!
Thank you for your comment. :) Writing it was a good way to expunge my sadness at the end of the season, because it seemed like no one even cared that Morgana was gone. In my world of denial, Arthur was devastated. *nods*
This was great! It was so sad and i loved how arthur ran after "morgana". It was heart-breaking. Especially at the end with the clock... that was beautiful. I HATE how the show has made it seem like Morgana leaving hasn't affected Arthur at all. Arthur would be crushed!!!! Especially because in my world they are each other's true love and Guinevere and Lancelot belong together. I'm just going to imagine this does happen and they just don't show us!
Thank you! :D I also hate how Morgana was pretty much forgotten in a heartbeat. You KNOW Arthur had to be missing her, they've had that connection and spent so much time together. Unfortunately it's true that we have to rely on imagination now. And fan fic - thank goodness for that! :D
