[A: Toni wakes up that morning, gets dressed for work, and goes downstairs. She opens the front door, then shuts it. She goes to the window and peers out to confirm her suspicions. She then goes to the phone.]

[Doof takes longer to get ready in the morning. He's still in pyjamas, half-awake, peering out the front window while Toni makes her call.]

...that's a zombie?

Why is there a zombie on the lawn?

[He cannot ponder this in his current state. He needs coffee. He's off to the kitchen to obtain it... but not before making sure to lock the front door.]

[Back to peering out the window.] Beats me, the town probably did it. I had no idea we were overdue for a zombie apocalypse. I wouldn't go outside without a weapon if I were you.

I was not aware that "zombie apocalypse" was a standard part of a 1950s setting. I... am going to need to improvise something...

[Heinz pours himself a cup of coffee, fills it with a generous amount of sugar... and then pours a second one for Toni.]

What do you take in your coffee? This day calls for coffee.
