Its snowing in Jersey!

Yesterday, I ventured south and went to the Johnson Space Center. This fulfills the geek requirement for my Houston adventure, and also bring the total of NASA centers I have been to to three (Langley in VA when I was 5 and Kennedy in FL when I was 6 and 9). Today I went down near Corpus Christi to a huge construction yard where BHP Billiton is building this. For those of you not in the know, this would be an offshore oil platform. My work study brought me a rock from Honduras (his home country). Yesterday, my other work study showed me pictures he took while he was studying abroad in Australia last semester. I guess it means they like me?

I don't know if its because I haven't finished my coffee yet, but this amused the hell out of me this morning.

I am exhausted today and I have no idea why. I got roughly 8 hours of sleep last night, and as far as I can tell it was decent sleep. I hate to think that I am jet-lagged from one hour (although it is technically two with day-light savings). Grumble.

So apparently today we turn the clocks ahead.... I totally missed this. I only noticed when I looked at the time on my e-mail and noticed it was an hour ahead. Good thing I didn't have any appointments today.

Just so everyone is aware, I will be in Mexico March 2-7. Although I will be staying at a Courtyard by Marriott, don't expect me to be in contact.

OMG I LOVE my new computer! It is SO fast and spiffy and awesome! And, due to the sue of an external hard drive, transferring everything off my old computer to the new one was really easy. Its so nice when technology works.
