The Look Right Before You Cry, It's Always Here

A short series of reactions to GOF because I doubt anyone wants to read the lengthy, four-page version. _ensoleille and I went to see it together last Friday.

Apologies in advance if you dislike asterisks )

*snickers*

You make me laugh and hurrah for asterixes (how do you pluralise that?)

Ron and Hermione were great after the ball. I loved that "you ruined everything!" moment and when she sat down and took off her shoes.

Also, I am not the only one who DIDN'T MISS DOBBY? HURRAH!

And there's a very funny Csi blooper up at marghelgenberger.com, I think. Warrick and Nick talk about how they want to be her bitch.

I was going to read it but then I realised it would give the movie away (I haven't read the books in so long that I practically haven't read them at all)

Also -

OMG OK GO.

:) *lvoes you*

Parvati and Padma: Hi Harry! (about a gazillion times)
Beau: Why do they keep doing that?
Lina: Because Parvati is obviously in love with him duh
Beau: *looks at Lina as if she is a delusional type person and not her kind, loving sister*

Parvati and Harry: *dance together*
Lina: I’m dying from happiness

Harry: *is wet and shirtless*
Lina: Thank you, baby Jesus!!

Beau: Ginny is so pretty!
Beau: Cho is so pretty!
Beau: Fleur is so pretty! (repeated about four more times)

Lina: I thought GOF was not as artistic as POA, cinematography-wise, you know?
Jess: Yeah, but you know at the beginning when they’re walking up the hill to get to the Portkey and the camera moves through the grass? I think I saw that shot in Lord of the Rings.
Lina: *dies laughing*
Ehehe, I did that too! Well, in the movie I snickered and wondered if maybe for the next 3 films they should move their entire set to New Zealand because it was certainly verreh verreh LOTR-esque during that little snippet ( ... )

That would just make me unbelievably happy; I would never ask for anything ever again! Too bad the chances of that happening are...not quite zero but depressingly close. And you're right, we would scare them away :S

I know! The lack of Harry and Sirius bonding time is just awful. Maybe they'll put lots in in the fifth one.

I loved Fred asking out Angelina, and then Ron trying to copy him with Hermione. I loved the ball dance lessons. I loved Snape getting pissed off at all the talking.
Aw those were the most fun to watch. I was just giggling through that whole time. Loved the bit where Harry smiles and dribbles pumpkin juice as well :P

A lot of it was very nicely done. I think they should do full length versions and release them only on DVD or something. 6 hours would be fantastic. Then I'd have something other than Pride&Prejudice to watch when I get sick.

*Hugs*
