I don't know a lot about German football (except that I am required to root for Bayer Leverkusen b/c they're connected to where my dad works), and I know only a little about the players (specifically, Lukas Podolski - gotta love a fellow person of Polish/German descent), but I enjoyed these drabbles nonetheless. I love how you write moments that seem totally real, even if they never actually happened.
