So I'm riding my bike past the suburban houses next to the golf course. Nice places with tiny yards. In one of them, I see what first appears to be a large black dog gamboling around happily with a few children. It's a pretty good place to ride a bike. Not in town, really, but then again you get out of town pretty fast and it's super nice once you do.

Dan called me Monday (the day before moving day) to say he'd been asked to interview for a job in Baker City (far eastern Oregon). Yay, interview! But they wanted to see him on Thursday, so he compromised with Friday morning. Left NY on Tuesday. 2600 miles. Needs to be in Oregon by 9AM Friday AND THEN HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW.
