（Guuuuuuuuuuuurl don't worry about it, i rarely think things are creepy [not even Morozov's coaching, lol]. At my old high school, there was this clique of girls whose jokes almost wholly consisted of declaring other people's remarks as "sooooooooo creepy loloooll" or "sooooooo awk". Idk i feel like worrying about stuff like that just represses people, which is never good. :/)

China is pretty hooked up too (except for the whole firewall thing - a good 60% of sites i frequent don't work here), but i'm staying in a new apartment whose internet was hastily set up for my arrival so it's inordinately slow.

Ugh i completely agree. Asians are so narrowly represented in Western tv and movies that there's just one defined "look" for us, and anyone who doesn't fit it is clearly trying to look like another race.
