vespa is working and at home. hurrah!

boxes are packed and stored, bedroom is barren, apartment is full of trash bags, bathroom is clean, luggage is set, and the taxi comes in an hour. dear god i am ready to go home.

you know what offends me? the most interesting summer concert event i've yet found is the mile high music festival. it takes place in commerce city, it costs like two hundred dollars, and in a fairly extensive line-up there are only four bands i particularly wish to see. am i going? shan't. andrew bird, etc, i fear our paths shall not cross this ( Read more... )

quick update before i go to chem lab. the TAs are on strike. they got a mandate for it about a week ago, and last night they voted 80% in favor and officially declared themselves on strike. i keep getting announcements from the school saying things like this:

EDIT: omg it's 54 degrees outside!

a good thing: my roommate sometimes makes banana bread/zucchini bread and ALWAYS thinks to give me some.

a bad thing: i never bake and in general totally fail to reciprocate.

a good thing: the piece of banana bread she just gave me even has chocolate in it. i feel happy and guilty.

is it weird that i actually really like this haiku?
