And for a while, I wasn't even sure that I'd be participating this year. It wasn't until the week before it started that I even had the beginnings of a plot idea that was biting at me hard enough that the muse demanded it be written. I think, once I sat down and briefly laid out the scenes that I still needed to do, I came up with approximately another 800k or so. Of course, that was before the idea popped up of her meeting Wulf, Chris and Dante... That brings in a few more scenes I'd never intended so, I have no clue anymore. I just know my fingers are going to fall off now lol

True... We'll need her when I decide I've lost my mind enough to try for that Dark Hunter/Inuyasha/Carpathian crossover. Just wait until I start picking your brain for that one :P

Wow! A little over 400,000 words for NaNo! That's just amazing!

lol, I don't think dreaming about the upcoming scenes is an obsession... It's more of..being passionate about the story. But I'm sure it's an amazing story and will become even more so of one as more is written.

Yep, I couldn't dredge up the motivation last year so when I finally committed to it this time, I wanted to see just how far I could push my word count. Now comes the fun part of finishing it lol

I have to admit, some of the dreams this one has inflicted on me have been rather interesting. It's inspired plot twists that had me wanting to slam my head into the desk and yelling no! Bad muse! But the idea was too good to pass up lol So I had to go back and rework smaller details in what I'd already written, just to keep the twist from from being too abrupt. Evil story lol
