Brief update
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are alive, and well, if not exactly sane. Tak and I have moved into an apartment, but getting the cable company out here has been a very slow process. Flooding Update
As of 8:30 this morning the flood waters have receeded and we were able to make a brief tour through the house. Most of the furniture is ruined, we've determined there is an electrical issue where only part of the wiring is working. With the sewer system having failed, the entire house smells like a waste water treatment plant ( Read more... )
