The Hillls of Connemara

Yesterday afternoon I started crying when talking to my mom via webcam, out of the blue, and got to do the whole, 'I'm fine, I'm smiling' thing, which sucketh.

But today we went to Connemara, despite the rain. Look on Facebook for pics. Anyone who has not taken a bus on the teeny-tiny Irish roads has not lived. It rocks side to side like a ship, and

I just realized that I don't know the geography of Ireland at all. I gotta look at a map soon :P Glad to hear that you are enjoying all of these places, despite the rain and crappy guides.

On the parental side, I know exactly what you mean about crying while talking to parent at home. It sucks, because you know they can't help you and you don't want them to feel bad. Sorry I don't have any great advice, just wanted to sympathize with you.

Hope you continue to enjoy yourself and keep learning/exploring. Keep reminding yourself that the trip of a lifetime has its bumps in the road, but when you look back it will all be worth it. LOVE YOU!

lol, I wouldn't know them either, thankfully maps are on google.
And can I just say, I love your sympathy. Sometimes a girl doesn't need to hear good advice (mostly because there isn't really any to be had) she just wants to moan and have someone agree with her.

And you are totally awesome with the "trip of a lifetime has its bumps in the road" I'll definitely be quoting you sometime
