Wow, the results in Iran's election were just about the worst to be imagined. A narrow win for Ahmadinejad - or even a mere tie in the first round and narrow victory in the subsequent runoff - would have been better. I was worried, but I really thought they'd finesse the fakery. I kind of expected Ahmadinejad to win, but only after a run-off, and I thought they'd choose a more realistic margin.

They need to take lessons in election-rigging from Kenya, or at least the Kennedy family

I thought Mousavi would win by about a 10% margin, probably after the run-off. *sigh*

He would have been such an interesting president. I'm not sure if he would have been good, but nearly anything is better than the incumbent.
