I wrote this poem when I was in kindergarten. It was called Let's Torture the Cats (though I think I spelled "torture" as "torshur."
Let's torture the cats. It will be fun. Let's torture the cats and invite everyone. We will bake cat cat cake And we can throw the leftovers into the lake!
It was also illustrated! I drew these people with whips and a bunch o' kitties and a lake and the sun. My mom still has it. It's so cute! I need to ask her to make a good copy of it, that needs to be framed and hung on the wall...thanks for reminding me!
I have been thinking lately about this song I wrote for my dad when I was 7. I don't know what happened to the tape, but it was something like:
I've been wondering for all these years I've been wondering Through all these tears And I can't wait I can't wait no longer So if you want me Come get me now....
I can't remember the rest.
It's actually quite sad now that I think about it. He and my mom had gotten divorced and he was in Korea.

Through all these tears
And I can't wait
