Have you heard the story of the Suffolk Strangler? Anytime it happens in England, it's just that much creepier. Somehow that makes me want to hear about it even more. What can I say? Raised on the BBC mysteries. Well, at least all we got of it from PBS. I've come to think of myself as fairly fortunate that I never had cable as a child.

Certain bands remind me of Christmas. The Cocteau Twins for one. Crap, I can't even express what a fan I am. I met her one time after a show in Tampa. It was emotional.
