You didn't tell me the boots were Diesel... you should complain via email. Make them know you really needed these boots for the cold weather and that you were "disappointed" that their brand isn't as reliable as they claim. Tell them you will keep that in mind when you shop for boots this year. (Oh companies hate it when you say you are looking elsewhere.) I'm sure they will give you a reply and maybe even a new pair of boots. Give it a try; I do shit like that all the time.
I did that last year. I wrote a couple emails and even called their head office in Montreal two or three times... it was useless though. I never got so much as a "Sorry".
They've done three years in a row now. They're really awesome. I really wouldn't have expected them to be as supportive as they are, but really I don't think they could be any more accepting. They've really made me a part of their family. I love them.
