False hope, phone line and internet died shortly after that last post. Supposedly they'll be in to fix it Monday.

We haven't had a dial tone on our phone since Monday morning. This currently means we have no home line (bad, since my sister has that number on her job applications) and that we also have no internet (damn dialup!). So, this afternoon I got a call offering me an internship in southwest Oregon. Some 30 minutes later, I got a call offering me and externship in Boston (at the least convenient location option). Back from another journey to Ithaca in search of the Maestro. Shockingly, he was to be found this time. Even with far less time than anticipated we crammed in an insane amount of information, definitely making the trip worthwhile. Not that it wouldn't be, just to see the ROSI crowd itself ;).
