Departure for Oregon in less than 12 hours. Through various repacking efforts I think I have managed to run across every size/weight restriction for airline luggage, BUT I think I've found a permutation that will let me avoid an $80 fee. So today, I'm sitting at the table eating a late lunch and I hear a wet sound. I finally go over to investigate and there's a steady dripping of water from the ceiling down to the base of the stairs from the second floor.
