I finished my livejournal icon today! Yes, I did eventually intend for it to be animated. Yes, the scratchy mud all over the ferret in my earlier version was intended to be fur. just sheerly out of curiousity, is a synx like a sphynx? because my sphynx, ali, would like to know.

A synx is not a sphynx, nor a lynx. A synx is a synx, a mink is a mink, and a mouse is a mouse. When a synx sings, Singh's sinks synch. See synx, thanks.

okay so a synx could very well be a sphynx because both like to hide in sock drawers, can fly short distances, and are "independently cute!" although i doubt your synx doesn't get "lost" downstairs and yowl incessantly until someone upstairs goes down to get him.:)

Huh, really? I thought sphynxes were large lion-like creatures with human heads. They have wings? My guess would be convergent evolution if so, but Stranger Things Have Happened.

Oh or... perhaps a breed of cat is sphynx? Seems to ring a bell. I have seen my share of sock drawers and shared them with my share of cats, and I can pretty conclusively say that nothing is quite like a cat. Not even a synx.
