I am in total and complete awe of God's Power...but I feel like such a horribe person when I say that I am so jealous. Austin, a really good friend of mine, has horrible rheumatoid arthritis. He has had to have both of his hips replaced and is in constant pain. So many people pray for him all the time. He has been to so many healing services and... nothing.

I know that God has a perfect plan for everything and the timing for his healing may just not be right yet... but if you could add Austin to your prayer list... He has been in so much pain since he was 12... and we are all waiting for this kind of miracle.

Thank you for giving me hope.

I'd be a liar if I told you that everybody I've prayed for healing for got healed. I've prayed and not seen someone healed more times than I have seen them healed. And I don't know why some people get healed and some don't, (Why did Jesus go to the pool of Bethesda and only heal that one man?) but I know that God is good, that He can heal everyone and He wants to heal everyone, and that He commanded His church to go and heal the sick. For me, it's worth it to look like a fool and see so many people not healed just for that one time that someone does get it. Just don't give up. Keep believing for it. Don't believe the Devil when he tells you that it's not happening because there's something wrong with you or with him. Remember the persistent widow. I'll be praying for Austin too.

i will too.

there's definitely a reason why some people don't get healed and why some people do. i've known a case of a person being the only one saved in their family and became very ill with cancer. when the church prayed for that person, the cancer was gone from their body. that healing was the factor that brought many of that person's family members to salvation. sometimes it takes a miracle and sometimes it may even take a death to bring others to salvation. it all depends on what it will take to bring people to God. That is why God works the way He works. He knows. We don't. That's the beauty of it. It's not in our hands... it's all in God's hands. He works in His own time. That is why we should pray for His will and not our own.

good word adam :) it's so important to remember that God's grace is abundant, so much so that He did even heal the one. He has every right to give us nothing, but grace is poured out among us undeservedly. Praise Him!
