I just got an iced coffee that tastes a bit like miso soup.

Question of the Day:
Tell me about the worst cup of coffee you've ever had. Where did you get it from? What did it taste like?

My answer: it was from Terrace Bagels in Brooklyn. it tasted like undercooked string beans.

An iced chai from Fowler's Grocery in Durham, NC. Fucking ritzy place with good sandwiches, but their iced chai is so sickeningly over-sweet it reminds me of rotting flesh. (Which, you know, I sample from time to time.)

Ditto on the Terrace Bagels. It tasted like weak coffee mixed with postage stamp glue, tomato paste and asprin.

There are a thousand amazing coffee places to visit in Chapel Hill. And an outdoor forest theater where we can picnic. OhIamexcited.

Though, try to avoid the weekends of July 28th and August 4th, during which I will be travelin' outta state. When were you thinking of coming down?

ALL coffee that I've had tastes horrible to me. But that's mostly because I never let myself develop a taste for coffee that doesn't contain 16 packets of sugar and is actually 50% milk by volume. le sigh.

YAY! I thought maybe the petite puero rican woman I gave your mail to last week might actually keep the box of goodies for herself. She asked me 324045344593845098456098 questions about what was inside. then she tried to read the writing inside the vellum envelope IN FRONT OF ME. like, at least wait until I walk away, and THEN try to read my love letter to you. JEEZ.

The worst cup of coffee I've had was at the cafeteria at Liverpool Hope University. It tasted like diluted Drain-o. That is why English people drink tea: they don't know how to make a friggin' cup of coffee.
Also, my Aunt Ro makes some pretty heinous coffee. It is so strong it actually eats away at the mug you're drinking from.
