my hips are not aligned at all.  i realized today that my left leg is a good half-inch longer than my right.  this is a greater difference than it might seem.

on another note, internship in building community my ass. it should be called internship in learning to be a parent. i'm not complaining, because i can't wait to be a mother, so this is actually a really good thing. but today ray and i went to a poetry reading that two of our kids were in. and this morning the girls called me
