Grief can last as long as it needs to. For some people that is a very short time. For others, it is a very long time.

You keep putting it down here. We'll keep reading it, and sending cyber hugs.

Regev,
I once thought I understood death. Then I lost my father and I found out I understood nothing. The loss of a spouse is likely the most traumatic experience of our lives and anyone who cannot give you the space you still need to mourn, needs their ass handed to them. It's only been 8 months! I suspect on some level that feels like forever and on others like it was 15 minutes ago.

Counseling can help & is worth pursuing. Time with others who'd had similar loss I found personally helpful after losing my father. Furthermore something pop had told me I found true after his death; share the joy and its multiplied, share the pain and its divided.

Hugs
