Yay! We finally have internet again.

Thankyou to everyone who let us use their internet connections recently we really appreciate it.

Robert has taken himself to the coast for a few days. I can't sleep.

Just got my rejection letter. I'm not horribly surprised but disappointed nonetheless. Looks like I'm actually going to have to make some decisions about what I'm doing next year. Do I stick with a Uni course that I'm not enjoying? Or do I go through the hell that is looking for work?

I had my first public service interview today.  The questions were all 'describe a situation where you....?'. I struggled to think of a situation where I'd done any of the stuff they wanted and even had them trying to come up with ideas for me. I was completely blank. This has to be the worst movie out this year. It was spectacularly bad. The script writers were either poorly trained monkey's or ex-porn script writers, or more likely they were both.

It had characters that were imposible to care about, no plot to speak of, nauseating art house camera angles, all topped off with an unoriginal wangsty 'surprise ( Read more... )

Firstly let me say that that was the best concert I've ever been to. Okay so I admit it's also the first concert I've ever been to (sad but true) but that doesn't make it any less awesome. I drove Pixie home from the hospital this afternoon so she wouldn't have to stay there all day. As a reward I was allowed to cuddle Talia. For which I am lucky because almost everyone else will have to wait a couple a weeks at least.  She makes very cute snorting noises when held at certain angles. I'm having such a great week. It started with an ear infection and a visit to a crappy doctor with appauling bedside manner. Generally I think it's good practice to tell a patient that you need to listen to their breathing before shoving your hand down the front of their shirt. Note to self.
I keep forgetting the effects certain drugs have on me.  Pseudoephedrine is evil. Despite warnings on the box about drowsiness, this drug keeps me awake all night. I write  in hope of never making the same mistake again.
