We've updated our post about the February 7th casting call in Philadelphia with specific information as to the time and place, and several local volunteers are helping to organize a protest. New York City Comic Con -- Day Two Success! sidepocket_pro February 9 2009, 02:40:57 UTC
Wow, today was WAAAAAAAY more successful than yesterday. I sadly did not have time to put up posters but I did place and hand out fliers to enthusiastic people. It did not help that I ran out of personal business cards so I was using them as such by writing my contact info in the blank spaces.

I could not get Daniel Dae Kim one in person, but like with Milo, I found one of his aids and gave it to her, and I saw it give it to him. He got it, looked at it, folded it and put it in his pocket. I would like to call that one success.

I hand out so many but the two that I now names of 100% that are fully behind us are Perry Moore (writer of the best selling book "Hero") and Misako Rocks! (A very awesome manga-ken) There was also a major woman from DC that was friends with Perry Moore but I sadly cannot remember her name. :(

Anyhow, I have pictures of them for you guys to see. It was a fun con. I hope this gets the word out.

WHOO~! More success~! 8D It's so great that you were able to do so much at NYCC! I think everyone here is really appreciative of your effort. Here's hoping we can have people get to other Comicons as Comicon makes its way to San Diego!
