just handed in my research paper for my history class... slightly over 30 pages. i spent so much time on it... and on the class in general. the funny thing is that i will probably receive my best grade for this class, a history senior seminar, though it is probably the only history class i will ever take at bowdoin. now the only thing i have left ( Read more... )

saw mf doom in nyc on wednesday which was awesome... and made it back for thanksgiving dinner which was also awesome. vacation has been short but relaxing. not looking forward to the loads of work i'll be doing in the next three weeks. to be honest, im not looking forward to much.

not a whole lot has changed at bowdoin: same people in better housing. and myself, and most of my friends, are trying to be considerably more responsible than we were last year. this means not going to bed at 4 am every night, waking up for class, and doing all work. so far so good ( Read more... )

spent the last 3 nights with my family on southport, ME; an island just outside boothbay harbor. my parents rent a cottage there most summers. last summer i guess i appreciated it for the first time: saw the lazy, old fashioned quality i guess my parents see there. though it's kind of touristy, it's still a fishing village. it's an interesting mix ( Read more... )
