Dragon*Con
I recently got back from Dragon*Con. It wasn't as immersive an experience for me this year as most; still suffering blood-pressure drops when walking (though those are becoming more infrequent and less serious), I didn't get out and about much. I mostly stayed in the Hyatt, didn't make it to the dealers' rooms, didn't make it to the ( Read more... )

We'll definitely be doing the seminars again, at two or three conventions next year.

I participated in the Adult Themes in Star Wars panel, a typically raucous affair.

Would this be a good time to tell you that I would TOTALLY be down to see some more implied sex in Star Wars? *coughJAINAJAGcough*

I'm sure you ran into a lot of people, but I'm the gal ran into you on the skywalk between the Marriott and the food court, and chatted you up for a while about how glad I am you're doing better and all the awesome contributions you've made to Star Wars. Just wanted to reiterate here how happy I am that you're one of the most approachable people in the business. <3

I also totally ran into you at Comic Con. <3 You're the best!

That is FANTASTIC.

Thanks for sharing the conversation, Aaron! I'd love to attend one of your seminars one day. First I have to get into the right hemisphere ... hmmm ...

I do remember, and, in fact, right after we met at Comic-Con and the autographing began, I remembered your name from the earlier e-mail you sent with the Jaina/Jag costume photo. But I didn't get a chance to show off my occasionally-useful memory. Sigh.

Thanks much for the picture. (And, as I told Mike Stackpole at Dragon*Con, "If I'd known how much female attention it would get me, I'd have had my heart attack years ago!")

Glad to hear you had fun. I was very jealous of my friend who got to attend the writing sessions. Please let us know when you plan on doing them again so we can make plans to attend.

And I'm relieved to hear that people other than my roommate and I have conversations like the one regarding superpowers.
