Dragon*Con
I recently got back from Dragon*Con. It wasn't as immersive an experience for me this year as most; still suffering blood-pressure drops when walking (though those are becoming more infrequent and less serious), I didn't get out and about much. I mostly stayed in the Hyatt, didn't make it to the dealers' rooms, didn't make it to the ( Read more... )

Sounds like DC was still good, even with your troubles. I would love to attend such a seminar, but first I gotta get onto the right continent... Hmm...

Lol, I love those kind of conversations! :D Me and some of my friends have a way of ending up in what other people would call wierd conversations. :P Often starting either by quoting(preferably sw) or going rpg character like. It's very funny.

"Imagine a team of wookiees playing american football."
"Yeah, those would totally topple the other guys... Unless they where playing against a team of jedi."
"That would just be cheating; they can predict the future and use the Force."
"Cheating? They are just using their natural abilities..." ;D
"Commentor: And the wookiees got the ball... No wait it got 'intersepted' by the jedi, who just made a nine feet leap into the air... And the jedi are running to the end zone and JUMPS right over the last wookiee! Touchdown! The jedi are now ahead 27-0."
(That is a perfectly normal conversation around me, lol).

Wish I could have made it to D*C, it sounds like there was a lot of fabulous going on there!

...Your conversations sound a lot like the ones I have with my Six year old... only with more words and better sentence structure:)

Me: You can't play on people like that.
her: People aren't toys? (befuddled look)

nevermind one time she was muttering in her room and I asked her if she was plotting world domination. She gave me an emphatic yes, then told me I could have Africa. (!)

I'm glad to hear that your getting betterness is getting better! It's good to hear you-news :)

And you know that the situation is desperate on a panel like that when I'm the voice of sanity and sobriety.
