awww.....:( I'm so sorry about your kitty. My cat of almost 14 years died last May after she was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. I noticed she had lost alot of weight and we took her to the vet and they did alot for her, including exploratory surgery in her abdomen. They removed a large mass and some of her intestines but it was too late and it had spread and she died about a week after surgery here at home. After she got that bad, I begged for her to die, as bad as it sounds. I just couldn't bare putting her to sleep. It was pretty selfish and since I've been working at this vet office (the ones that treated my cat) I've learned it's the most kind thing to do. Anyway, I'll stop my rambling. I hope things get better for you and again, I'm sorry for the loss of your cat.

I understant completely. I haven't been without a cat since I was five, so 15 years now. We went to the Lexington Humane Society the day after Miss Kitty passed away and adopted a kitten that was found as a stray. It sounds insensitive that we didn't wait but we couldn't stand it without a kitty around. Mom laid in bed all day when my cat died, that was her baby. We have 2 kitties(a solid grey male and a tabby female) we're trying to adopt out at the clinic I work at, if you're interested. Not trying to be insensitive or anything. :) They're little homeless babies that were born in a car and one of my co-workers caught the babies and Mama and she had Mama spayed and released and we're going to adopt out the babies. 1 of the 3 was adopted Friday and it's taking longer than expected.

It's amazing how much animals can touch your lives. :)

Yeah it is amazing how they do touch us.But we have our fill of animals,we love our animal to death but they seem to destroy our house lol.My cat that just passed, she pissed all over the house, she would always go into bathrooms and pee around the toilet, she was close but not close enough haha,my other cat he sprays everything,he has got some issues and my dogs when they were puppies chewed up a LOT of woodwork around the house, and now the female shits upstairs all the time so needless to say our house gets stinky sometimes, sounds sick and we keep it clean but they just keep it going haha.Me and mom were talking about how we kinda wanted a cat,but we still have 3 animals and my dad had a cow over vet bills we have so we are going to have to wait,if i knew anybody that need a cat i would let them know but I dont
