A couple of years ago, I felt that I was always younger than my age. When I was 16, I felt like I was 14; when I was 18 I felt like I was 16. I don't know what happened between 17 and 20 but suddenly I feel old. Old, and young, perhaps, but yes definitely old. I'm cooking! Living by myself (with friends but not family and no dorm food)... waking up early to go to work... living the 9 to 5 life... tangling with the gas/cable/electric companies...reading till late at night... relearning the absorbing quality of escapism...learning to skive off work ( Read more... ) -
On Bathrooms
There's a stall in the bathroom of the Rock where girls have written stuff on the doors and walls. Vandalism, I suppose you can call it that, but vandalism seems to me an act motivated by destruction instead of creation, and these girls, whoever they are, are not destroying but creating a communal sounding board.
