I am at a coffee shop in downtown Mesa. They have reopened and I am sipping my coffee in the corner. Social distancing, lol. It’s pretty flimsy the level of precaution that they have put in place, but better than nothing, I suppose. I have been cooped up and I am itching to leave the house. So there's tons to do with my truck before I'm ready to leave. To this end, I decided to create a list, to see if I can create some motivation to get it all done (as time is of the essence). Last day of June. Also my brothers birthday (I already called him). The trip back home from out west was exhausting but I'm glad I went. Had a great time. So it's May! Heck yeah. Played a show last night with the Ne'er-do-wells at the Druid City Brewing Taproom. Actually we set up it the brewing room, not the taproom, but it was a fun gig. New computer!
So I am now the proud owner of a brand spanking new MacBook Air. I went for the 11" because I'm a cheapskate and hey, it'll be easier to tote around anyway. It seems so light compared to my old 13" black MacBook... I ordered a protective cover for it, so hopefully that'll make it seem more robust ( Read more... ) -
Update on computer situation
There is good news, and also bad. Bad news first! It turns out that there is a cap on the amount of tax exemptible goods for the upcoming tax free day. The magic number is $750, and the computer that I'm eyeballing is a wee bit more. Damn it ( Read more... )
