This journal is obscenely yellow. It really has to go. Of course, it’s not like that’s EASY - I’ve tried clicking all over the place, and asking this lap top as nicely as I can manage, but NO, the yellow remains, mocking me with its cheeriness. I really do not know what I was THINKING making it this colour in the first place ( Read more... )

You should have dyed your hair red.

...red is far too close to yellow. Red does not encapsulate how I feel. Red is not suitably dark to reflect my inner rage and despair. So, no.

But red is such a beautiful colour. Red is the colour of sunsets, of holidays, of beautiful women basking in the tropics!

Don't you want to be a beautiful woman basking in the tropics?

That is exactly the kind of thing I would expect someone like you to say. As if all there is to being a woman is whether you're BEAUTIFUL or not. Blimming MEN.

Merlin. Am NOT going to go to the ball with something like this.

(However. Red is also the colour of blood and anger. It is at least preferable to yellow. However, my hair is remaining black. Any thought of dying it red is forever tainted by the fact YOU will find it attractive.)

Mine's green. It makes me think of new life and things.

What does Gloom look like? Because there's a kitten in the tree outside my window, and a gang of third years standing round the bottom.

I'd like mine to be black. I do not know HOW, and this yellow is really HACKING me OFF and I would do something violent to my lap top but then I wouldn't be able to use it. So.

He's small. Black and white. Irritatingly pretty blue eyes. If it's him...say. I'll go get him. Little git. Thanks.

Yes, that's him.... Wait, Hannah, I'm sure the third years - that's a lot of blood.

I didn't know you could use brooms for that kind of thing.

That is an awful lot of blood.

...there we go.

What? Come on, it WAS only a scratch. Or two. And if they WILL continue to pull Gloom's tail AFTER I specifically yelled at them not, then, well. Barbaric little twits.

How do you feel about homosexual men? because I dont think I'd ever hurt or betray you!!

That's a nice sentiment, Colin. I frankly couldn't care less. Though if men want to take out their destructive tendencies on each other rather than poor unsuspecting women, that's fine and dandy with me.

Of course it's a nice sentiment, I'm a very nice person no matter what some other red headed girls will lead you to believe.

Will people in here just shut up about red hair already? GAH.

You can come with Susan and I if you like.
I'm a dead male which must give me a few good points.

Not quite dead enough. Susan? Actually. I had a good conversation with Susan about misogyny in the Wizarding World the other day. I could go to the ball with Susan - at least that way I could get some intelligent conversation. Instead of the blather most boys my age call small talk.

I suppose you'll have to be there too?

Well I did ask her first and I'm not going to fail because you're rude.
