Employed! Serious this time!
Ok, finally got a bloody freakin' job! A real one! At Red Lobster! Mmmm...cheese biscuits. Yep I start sometime later this week. Only problem is that I have to buy a few things for the uniform....annoying, but I do get to wear my chef jacket form school, so that's awesoma power! That's all I really have to say. I don't feel like typing today. -

I can't believe how quickly the weeks are going by. I've almost been in Toronto for a year! Whoa. Sometimes it feels like it's been forever, ie: when I was unemployed AND not going to school. Another end to another week...ah sweet. I just made the cutest cookies! Pics on facebook! Tasty! I still have restaurant cooking tommorow from 2-9. That's going to be the final drain on my body for the week. It is so much fun though and it's a real restaurant, so obviously I'm not going to hate working in the industry. Not enough criticism?
School is going pretty good. Good grades, nice people (most of them) and nice teachers. But there is one Chef who seems to be letting everyone sort of slip by, including me. He likes everything I do and I practically get 100 every time, except for maybe not having enough seasoning or missing an ingredient on occasion. I kind of miss the ( Read more... ) -

Finally back in school and cooking on the very first day! I love it! I was going to take a picture of my dish today, but I forgot and destroyed it too soon. It looks a lot like this one though.
